After School Clubs
ERS runs a range of after-school clubs for Prep school children. These include the Chess Club, the Cookery Club and the Needlework Club which all provide an opportunity for children from different classes to mix together in a fun situation.
Several Rainbow II children attend the Cookery Club alongside their mainstream friends. Here they learn to make different tasty dishes such as melting moments, basil, garlic and cheese twists and fruit cake which they then take home to bake.

The parent representative for Rainbow I has organised a most successful Football Club which is open to other ERS children. Training takes place every Thursday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm at Durrants Lane and has proved a great attraction. Football is a particularly good sport for children who may have social communication difficulties as it is a group activity which encourages them to develop their interaction with the other team players. The plan is to expand the club in the summer term so do contact Cosima Morris if you’d like your child to be included.
